Need a Flu Shot?
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), "Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death." Yikes!Want to limit your chances of getting the flu this fall and winter season? Thanks to the folks at the Seattle Visiting Nurse Association, you can do just that by receiving a flu shot next month.
The flu vaccine, which must be given each year, "protects against the influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common during the upcoming season." So mark your calendars and get to campus, for on Monday, October 20th from 9:00am-11am, current students can go to the Baker room in the Lindbloom Student Center and get a flu shot for only $25
