Baghdad Books?

" I get most of my information on the internet!" Said Wanaka, a student doing research on the city of Baghdad, in Iraq. She was suprised and pleased that with the help of a Holman Librarian, she found many great resources for her project- in the form of books on our library's shelves!

Distressed! A humanities student needed quick access to his text book.  Librarian Melissa put up a sign at the Reference Desk asking students if they had the required book handy.  Edward (below) saved the day!  Not only did he loan the book, but he went back to his house to get it!  Thank you, Edward. That's the true spirit of the Information Commons!
